Neche won the intense Week 3 HOH battle in BBNaija Season 11, beating Chisom in the final round to grab immunity and pick her own deputy.
So Big Brother Naija just gave us another Monday night to remember. Neche is officially the new Head of House for Week 3, and honestly, watching how she got there was worth the wait.
It wasn’t a walk in the park. The housemates had to go through three rounds to earn the crown, and only two people from the whole house made it to the very last stage.
Now, Sheba sat this one out since she was last week’s HOH, and Nomy couldn’t play either because she’s this week’s benchwarmer. Everyone else, though, was in the game and fighting for their lives.
Round one was all about balance, literally. Housemates had to keep a bottle steady using nothing but a rope. Sounds easy until you try it under pressure with cameras in your face. Round two threw an obstacle course at them, and that’s where a lot of hopefuls got knocked out.
By the time round three came around, it was down to Neche and Chisom. This was the endurance round, the kind that tests who really wants it more. And Neche pulled through, beating Chisom to claim the HOH title.
Why does this matter? Because HOH isn’t just a fancy title in this house. It comes with immunity, a lounge upgrade, and the power to pick who joins you up there. Neche chose Sultex as her deputy, and Sultex then picked Oyin to complete the trio.
But here’s where things get interesting for the rest of the house. Chisom, even though she lost the final round, still can’t be touched this week. She’s holding onto immunity as the season’s most influential player, so she’s safe no matter what happens at nominations.
Neche is untouchable too, thanks to her new HOH status.
That leaves Nomy in a tight spot. As the week’s benchwarmer, she has no protection at all, and that automatically puts her up for eviction. Not exactly the kind of week anyone hopes for.
So as nominations approach, all eyes are on who Neche and her deputies will put up next to join Nomy on the eviction list. One thing’s for sure, Week 3 just got a lot more dramatic.
