Popular TikToker Immunizer has been arraigned in Lagos for allegedly targeting Mohbad’s widow Omowunmi with harmful online posts. Here’s the full story.
Grief should come with protection. But for Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of beloved Nigerian singer Mohbad, the months after her husband’s shocking death in September 2023 brought something far worse, a wave of online attacks that allegedly followed her from platform to platform.
Now, a Lagos court has stepped in. And a popular TikToker is at the centre of it all.
Oladimeji Hammed, widely known online as Immunizer, stood before a Lagos Magistrate’s Court on six separate charges this week. The 27-year-old content creator, who built a following on TikTok, pleaded not guilty to every count, which include cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and online harassment. But police paint a very different picture of what allegedly happened between February and March 2026.
According to the prosecution, Immunizer did not just make one careless comment and move on. Investigators say he ran a sustained campaign of posts targeting Omowunmi over several weeks.
One post allegedly suggested she was preparing to flee Nigeria before justice could be served in connection with Mohbad’s death. Another reportedly implied she had stayed silent in the face of infidelity allegations raised during court proceedings. A third allegedly pointed to the circulation of private materials linked to her, content police describe as being shared with the deliberate intent to humiliate.
The prosecution also alleged he uploaded a video containing direct accusations against her, claiming she was connected to a hidden agenda tied to her late husband’s affairs.
Perhaps the most alarming detail in the charges is this: police claim the online content contributed to a real-life incident in March 2026 where Omowunmi was publicly confronted and nearly physically attacked.
The court granted Immunizer bail, but the conditions are strict. He must present two sureties, each able to show a bank balance of at least ₦700,000. One surety must be a state civil servant, the other a blood relative, and both must show proof of tax compliance. The case has been adjourned for further hearing.
Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on September 12, 2023, leaving behind his wife, a young son named Liam, and millions of grieving fans. The circumstances of his death remain a subject of intense public debate, and that unresolved pain has kept Omowunmi in the spotlight, willing or not.
