Ayra Starr’s sister, DJ Salt, shares how Lagos thugs vandalised her car after mistaking her for the singer, adding to growing Agbero complaints.

Imagine getting your car damaged by thugs, and on top of the pain, they’re shouting the wrong person’s name the whole time. That’s exactly what happened to Ayra Starr’s sister.

Her name is Hannah, but you probably know her better as DJ Salt. And she just shared a story that’s got people talking for more reasons than one.

According to her, thugs damaged her car recently, and while they were at it, they kept screaming “Ayra Starr” because they genuinely thought she was the singer. So not only did she deal with the shock of her car being attacked, she also had to sit with the strange irony of being mistaken for her own sister.

“They damaged my car yesterday, and honestly it was so sad!!! And the fact that they kept shouting Ayra Starr cause they thought I was her, that made it even worse,” she wrote.

Can you imagine that? You’re already having a bad day, and then strangers won’t even get your identity right while ruining it further.

Hannah didn’t just randomly share this. She was reacting to a post by Tunde Ednut, who’s been raising the alarm about how Agberos, area boys, in Lagos have been terrorising motorists lately.

Tunde had written that once you’re spotted driving a nice car in Lagos these days, area boys will practically corner you for money. And if you refuse? Your car might not survive the encounter. As he put it, “This is what happens now in Lagos once you drive a nice car… If you don’t give them, they might stone your car and break something. So basically, it’s by force.”

That’s a heavy thing to read, honestly, and Hannah’s story just adds real weight to it.

This whole Agbero wahala has been a hot topic lately. Just days before Hannah spoke up, content creator Peller complained that thugs practically took over his wedding, outnumbering actual guests and even snatching phones.

Other celebrities like Lilian Afegbai, Sirbalo, and Phyna have also shared their own rough experiences with thugs in different parts of Lagos.

At this point, it feels like everyone, celebrity or not, is dealing with the same headache. And honestly, when this many well-known faces keep telling similar stories, you start to wonder just how normal this has become for regular Lagosians who don’t even have a platform to complain on.
