Blossom Chukwujekwu and wife Ehinome welcome their first child, a baby girl, four years after their wedding. Here’s what we know.
Some milestones arrive quietly, and this was one of them. Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu and his wife, Pastor Ehinome Chukwujekwu, have become parents for the first time, four years after they said “I do.”
No fanfare from the couple themselves. No carefully staged photo. Instead, the news came from an unexpected source: their church.
On Sunday, The Christ Embassy Lagos Virtual Zone Phenom church posted the news on Instagram. A baby girl had arrived, and her name was Angela-Ritsa Evanna Chukwujekwu.

The church called her a gift from God and prayed for the family’s home to overflow with love and grace. Within hours, congratulations poured in from fans and colleagues who had followed the couple since their wedding day.
Four years is a long wait in the public eye, especially for a couple whose every move gets watched. Yet neither Blossom nor Ehinome has ever addressed the timeline publicly. No explanations, no updates, just quiet patience until now.

That silence is part of what makes this moment land so heavily. It wasn’t manufactured for attention. It unfolded on its own terms.
This isn’t Blossom’s first marriage. He was previously married to Maureen Esisi in a low-key ceremony back in December 2015. That union ended in separation in 2019, without children.
His marriage to Ehinome, who comes from the Christ Embassy leadership family, marked a turning point. Four years later, that fresh start has grown into a family.

Blossom’s career has never really left the spotlight. He’s been acting since 2009 and picked up Best Supporting Actor at the 2015 AMVCA for his role in Knocking on Heaven’s Door.
His daughter’s arrival also puts him in good company this year. Sharon Ooja, Simi and Adekunle Gold, and Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe, who welcomed triplets in May, have all celebrated new additions recently.
For now, the couple hasn’t said a word themselves. Maybe that’s the point. Some joys don’t need a caption to matter.
