Blaqbonez sues Odumodu Blvck for ₦2.55bn over “sexual abuser” posts. Odumodu refuses to back down, insists he’s telling the truth.
war of words between two of Nigeria’s most talked-about rappers has just landed in court.
Blaqbonez has taken legal action against Odumodu Blvck, demanding ₦2.55 billion in damages after the “Cast” hitmaker branded him a “sexual abuser” online. And judging by Odumodu’s response, this fight is far from over.

The trouble began on June 29, 2026, when Odumodu, whose real name is Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, took to his verified X account and called Blaqbonez a “sexual abusing bastard.” It wasn’t a one-off remark either. According to legal documents from Lagos firm Punuka Attorneys and Solicitors, the posts formed part of a pattern of online attacks stretching over time.

That was enough for Blaqbonez, born Emeka Akumefule, to draw a line. His lawyers accuse Odumodu of defamation, harassment and interfering with his career, and they’re not asking for a small settlement.

The figure isn’t random. Blaqbonez wants ₦2 billion for damage to his reputation and emotional wellbeing, plus ₦500 million in aggravated damages, since Odumodu’s massive following meant the claims spread fast and far. Add ₦50 million in legal costs, and the total hits ₦2.55 billion.
Beyond the money, Blaqbonez’s team wants Odumodu to delete every offending post, issue a public apology on X and Instagram, keep it pinned for 30 days straight, and stop making similar claims going forward, permanently.
Rather than retreat, Odumodu doubled down. “I STAND ON IT. YOU ARE A SEXUAL ABUSER. YOU DID IT,” he wrote on X once news of the lawsuit spread. He also took a swipe at how quickly blogs picked up the story, insisting no amount of media pressure would make him change his stance.

For now, nothing here has been proven in court, and Blaqbonez maintains he did nothing wrong. But with both men digging in publicly, this is shaping up to be one of the messiest celebrity legal battles Nigeria has seen in a while.
