Timini Egbuson and Bimbo Ademoye keep fueling dating rumours with playful moments, sweet posts, and undeniable chemistry.

There is a very thin line between acting chemistry and real-life tension, and Timini Egbuson just stepped right on it again.

An old interview clip of the Nollywood actor is making the rounds once more, and this time, the internet is not letting it go quietly. In the video, Timini was asked which of his co-stars he would consider dating. He paused. Thought about it. Then gave one name, Bimbo Ademoye, adding that he’d pursue it if she ever became single. Fans immediately started connecting dots they’ve been collecting for over two years.

Timini and Bimbo Ademoye have shared the screen in multiple Nollywood productions, Breaded Life, The Kujus, Big Love, Reel Love, and others. Their on-screen romantic tension drew strong audience reactions every single time, and somewhere along the way, viewers stopped seeing it as just acting.

By mid-2024, Timini posted a video of the two of them in bed together, teasing a “big announcement.” He then jokingly told fans he and Bimbo had “made a baby” and to expect a naming ceremony. It was meant to be funny. It was also perfectly engineered to keep the conversation alive.

Bimbo has never exactly played innocent in all this either. Earlier this year, following reports that her relationship with media personality VJ Adams had ended, she publicly told Timini she would only agree to marry him if his film Love and New Notes crossed ₦500 million at the box office, and that children would only come after it hit ₦1 billion.

Not a yes. Definitely not a no.

Every few months, without fail, Timini and Bimbo find a fresh way to remind Nigeria they exist in each other’s orbit. Sometimes it’s a post. Sometimes an interview. Sometimes just a caption.
